hello Egypt and egyptians.................
actually i'm not sure whether we shall celebrate this day as a day of victory, or regard it as a sad day like 5/6/67.

we should have been celebrating this day as the day of Freedom and Democracy....................but the reality is not like this.
23/7/52..................is the end of Kingdom in Egypt and the start of a New Era of another Kingdom !!!
it's another Kindgom under the name of Republican.

Dictator Nasser, then Dictator Sadat, then the most Ugly/Garbage Dictator Mubarak...............25 years in presidency, Can you believe it ??!

I hope we can improve this country to the better and get rid of those rotten guys who are ruling us for decades.

Do you agree with me on the whole issue or what ?
wish to know your opinions plz.
thanks a million in advance.

there are things to Nasser and Sadat that we couldn't forget...........yeah, true are your words; for example, i couldn't forget that they imprisoned thousands and thousands of innocent people and put them up in jails, torturing them and killing them.........yeah, i can't forget.
also can't forget that Nasser took our troops without a proper plan and without regarding the great difference between our troops and that of Israel at that time...........yeah, i can't forget...
right Gigi ??!!

I was unaware that there was so much dislike for the government there in Egypt. It does make me very happy to see that someone is willing to stand up and take a stand. Stay strong to your convictions and let your voice be heard. I wish you well and luck in changing things for the better.

I am Egyptian but i don't really celebrate anything, in fact i completely forgot about it, i only remember when I'm in Egypt,
I personally think that it shouldn't be celebrated as a Eid,
It didn't change to anything better after that day, Mubarak is nothing better than the people before him, in fact he is worse, they are all rubbish Dictators, They don't rule the Islamic way, did nothing good for the country, they support America and not the other Muslims, they only care about themselves. the best of the three of them would probably be Sadat,
If only they followed the Islamic sharia

there is alot of corruption when Egypt was a kingdom till it became a republic
it s just none of us can speak
we just hope a fair, leading person who just show us the truth of democracy

No, I will not celebrate 23,July,07.
Not being an Egyptian, it does not interest me
enough to consider doing it.
But, have your self a nice holiday and try to
reconcile your differences with others.
