Back in 1987-89, I used to go to a little drive-thru burger joint in Clarksville, TN called "Beefy's". They were reasonably priced, had great burgers and the best fries I've ever tasted. Is it still there? Do they (or did they) have other locations?

There were half a dozen in the Nashville area as well as Kentucky and Alabama. Talked to the owner of several of these just yesterday and he said the only one left is the one in Pleasant View. The Gallatin Beefy's is now a CVS and the Hendersonville Beefy's is a dry cleaner. I can ask Steve where he got the fries because they were delicious. They were specially seasoned for Beefy's and I remember eating plenty of them when I worked there.

I was a manager there from 1990-1993. They've all closed down. Great burgers poor ownership.
