How do I stop spirits and demons from troubling us in my home?

i need u r help.Actually its my grandfather's house build on a old graveyard.The spirits and demons like it. FRIENDS! even a polite and humble request to them does not work.making things float, splapping guests at night and scaring the pet are some only[though they dont harm very badly]. Even making them understand and talking to them, the more they do

i know this is a leginimate question but spirits can do more more than annoy you and demons are not real.
if you are still terrified, go get help either from the clergy of from a doctor.

First thing is, If you make them feel that you are scared, sure they will trouble you. Some are good and some are bad. Good once never troubles. But will trouble you if you show them you aare scared.

If you have sacred chants collection, Put the Mahishashura Mardhini Slogam. Those beats are soo powerfull in this particular album. Put it loud. Then if you know Durga kavacham, Gayatri Mantram, Lalitha Sahasranamam say that. When are afraid, say anyone of these sloga loudly whatever happens. Nothing can come to you. And when you put the mahishashura Mardhini sloga, Open all doors. If you have kali picture, have it as if, if you open your front door, you should see kali first. It should be kept like that. And inside home light a lamp infront of kali.

Pray kali and shiva too. I am saying it from own experience. But my house is not in graveyard. But I had lots of troubles. But nothing can do anything unless my faith and my mother shakthi or shiva or vishnu or muruga and krishna are with me.Don't think i am saying soo many gods, they all are one. I came to say that, at that sec., which god i pray, they are with me.Pray with your heart and keep faith in god, that will help you a lot. I don't know about other religion, what they do. But pray god faithfully.

I suggest that you take the advice of a true Saint.Besides on a personal level I think that this will be best advice-
play hymns, mantras, God's name on the audio system at your house everyday. They will be liberated in that way. Never keep the dishes unclean and the left over food must always be thrown away.I hope that you have a temple or place of worship at your home. Pray everyday. Chantng hymns, God's name and mantras loudly will also help dimnish the negative energies around.

I am sorry to hear this is happening to your family home. How frustrating that is! But rest assured that there is help available in this situation. You just need to know who to ask for.

There are two things you can do here. One is what to say and who to pray and ask for help. Sound has very powerful effects in our surroundings. This was proved by Dr. Masaru Emoto. The most powerful and purifying sounds are the Sanskrit mantras/slokas. They repel negative energies and spirits. Whom to ask for to help in this situation. Pray and ask Mata Amritanandamayi (Just call her "Amma") to send these spirits away and send love and protections to your family and home. Well. I have no experience with anything like this happening to me in a house, but if it did, I would try telling them that they could stay if they wanted, but that I was going to go about buisiness as usual, and that I was going to start partying down. I would put up party lights, and hook up a killer stereo, and start cranking it up. have freinds over, play my guitars, keyboards, and drums, have kegs, etc. just to see how these entities would react. I think they like to feel that they have the control, but when you make it plain to them that the house is YOUR realm, and that you will be in controll of what happens there, and having an attitude of not caring what they do, they may move on.
As long as they know they are scarring you and making you nervous, this gives them the only real power they can have. If you make it plain that you wont cowtow to them, it takes their power away.
I was once walking on the beach by myself at night, and I was troubled by some spirit that was buzzing around me and trying to get my goat. I actualy even felt it fly through my body. Well it did frighten me, as I wasnt used to something otherworldly attacking me. I did react by visualizing my fingers turning into long razor sharp claws that, because I was using my will to create, were part of the spiritual world. I told this spirit that if if didnt leave, i would split it apart with my claws. I felt that it could see these claws because they were in its spiritual world. and they were real to it, and to me to. I could actualy feel them, because frightening me made me mad, and that determination, gave me the extra will to make them real. anyway, very shortly after I showed my claws and talked to that spirit, it left, and never bopthered me again. If you can manage to scare them on their level, they will find some respect for you. They think they are in control. when you show them that you will not allow it, things will change.

I find telling them that you both live here, and you have nothing against them, you would just like to sleep. It seemed to help me, we've always had problems with spirits when we first move *and we've moved alot in 2 years*.

Since I seem to attract activity no matter where I am, I've learned to just rebuke them in Jesus' name. I believe they are of the world, but not in God's world, so are of satan. I tell them, "get behind me, satan!". People can make fun all they want, but that's the only way I can achieve peace from them. Good luck!

tell them to move. also, i saw a show on discovery once about this. The people hired this person who can supposively "connect" with ghosts/demons and actually got rid of them.
