Do you say hello? Do you shake their hand? I am more of a hello, nice to meet you kind of person. I don't like to shake hands if I don't know them. Does that make me a mean person?

I'll often shake hands coz that's what the other person does. I am like you, a hello, nice to meet you sort.

well by a new person do you mean some stranger off the street....if so, i would just say 'hello'...but if the new person is someone that i will continue talking on later on..i'd be like 'hi, my name is blah blah.." but sometimes if hte person is much older than me i mite shake their hands out of a sign of respect

lol No, it doesn't make you a bad person. I usually just say hi, how are you doing, and if they want to shake my hand, I let them. I don't instigate it tho. :)

No it doesn't, as of me, I just wave at them unless they hold their hand out to shake.

No, there's nothing wrong with not touching people you dn't know. And a big smile can cover up for a lack of handshake!
