Yo! It's like $10 dollar item. Now it's costing $8.

Or with the same amount of money, instead of buying 4 now you can buy 5.

PS. NO STUPID SALES TAX has been considered.

Here is the math process:

Example 1

Ten dollar item now is 20% off

$10 * 20% off = $2 off And $10 dollar off of $2 is $8 ($10-$2=$8)

Example 2

You want to buy 5 item $1 dollar item and it is 20% off.

5 (item) * $1per item = $5

5 (item) * $1per item *20% off = $1

So it is costing you $4 ($5-$1=$4).

Before the 20$ off

4 (items) * $1 per item = $4

In other words, instead of 4 items that you can buy. Now you can buy 5.

take the amount and multiply it by .20, for example 20% off 100 dollars is 20 dollars, 20 % off a dollar is 20 cents.
