The concept of luck is relative; from the genetics of the family you're born into, to the chances of you having a car crash. Some people seem to be blessed with good luck while others end up with all the bad. Where do you fit on the lucky scales?

The harder I work for something the luckier I seem to get. I have often noticed the connection between working for something and then luckily being able to get or achieve it. It is almost as if it were possible to achieve everything you want to achieve without luck being involved at all.
Are people who survive a car crash luckier than people who do not have a crash at all?
I do believe in chance but not really in luck in the sense that you use the word. The outcome of anything is determined by the accumulation of input factors plus a factor for random chance. Managing the random chance factors and making sure that all of the input events are right will give a good outcome and that may be called luck I suppose.

on the scale of one being the worst to ten being the best, I'm a ten. I'm alive and well each and everyday, I have a job, a roof over my head, and go to bed with a full tummy everynight, that's a blessing. embraced what you have in your life and you will feel that you have so much more than the rest of the third world kids/people out there.

How lucky you are or not depends on your attitude I feel.
You can have everything and still complain....

I feel I am very lucky....there is so much to be grateful for.

There is no such thing as LUCK. One's life is the result of past actions or inactions. Another way of saying that is .... KARMA!
