my art teacher scares me. he perves on me, and my friend. we are perfect in his class. we never talk, we always complete homework on time, and we are both good at art, but he is scary. he keeps calling me honey, or darling, and he has moved me and my friend to the front of the class. he also puts his knee on the table a lot. we are both scared. i've tried talking to my parents, and they just say he's probably only be trying to be friendly, but i know he's not. i've also talked to my form tutor, and she says the same as my parents. i dont trust any other adults. my friend has done the same. my art teachers has got pictures of naked ladies on his classroom wall, and the headteacher doesnt see them, as his classroom is is a complete different section of the school to the rest of the classrooms, and no-one really goes there. at the moment, i only have him as my teacher once every 2 weeks, but starting september, i'm getting him more often. is my art teacher a pervert?

I think that you've done the right thing by telling your parents and form teacher that you don't feel comfortable with this art teacher.
So lets look at the facts,
1. You say he stares(perves) at you.
2. He puts his knee on the table.
3. He moved you and your friends to the front of the class
4. He calls your honey, darling
5. He has pictures of naked women in his office.
Now look at it from another point view.
1.His job is to watch/teach you
2. I'm not sure how he put his knee's on the table so I can't really work out what he is doing or not doing
3. He may think you and your friends need to be watched more closely
4. It maybe what he normally calls younger girls.
5. As I know a few art teachers that have pictures of naked women as they tend to be artistic pictures or art work. If you go to an art museum you Will see alot of pictures or naked men/women.
Unless he does something that crosses the line I wouldn't worry about it. So far I can't see he has done anything like that.

No, You Shouldn't Be Scared. Your Teacher Is Weird Though. Whether He's A Pervert Or Not Is Another Issue. I Would Just Advise You To Keep Doing The Same Thing You And Your Friend Normally Do/Did And If He Continues This Behavior Then Tell Him That You Do Not Appreciate The Names He Calls You. If He Keeps Calling You These Names Then Tell Him That You Can Have The School Involved To Make Him Stop.

Try talking to your school counselor about this. You might also talk to the headteacher or even your pastor It is a real problem, not necessarily because he is a "perv", but because it bothers both of you. Having nude pictures in an art classroom doesn't sound especially weird, depending on what grade you are in and what kind of pictures they are. However, from your descriptions of his actions they are certainly inappropriate for a classroom. Unfortunately the only way for this to be resolved is for you to trust some adult perhaps the school principal. Good Luck

Naked ladies on his classroom wall!!! That is totally inappropriate. In fact if you have a camera phone I would take pictures of the naked ladies in a manner that shows that they are hung in a classroom. Maybe one further away and one close up so you can support your story. Don't get caught taking photos, your phone will be taken from you.Take your parents to the class room and show them the photos. If your parents wont help you I would call the child protective services with your friend and have them take actions of your behalf. Don't tell your teacher you are going to report him, He'll take the pictures down and make you out to be a liar. You'll have photos to support your story.

you and your friend should tell him before or after class that you dont like the "pet names". let him know that it feels disrespectful when he calls you these names and your not comfortable with it. about the pictures on the wall, are they pornographic pictures or art pictures? if they are porno, take a pic with a cell phone and show them to the principal. if he is a pervert, try to get another art teacher if the school has one or make sure that you are never alone with him.

I think that you should continue to tell your parents about how this man is making you and your friend feel uncomfortable. Tell them of each instance when you are made to feel this way and keep telling anyone who will listen.
You need to to your best not to be alone with this man youand your friend. You should be listend to someone should be doing something so you keep talking about it until somebody does.

yes he is......try to get out of his class im sure they have other teachers in this same subject dont they? if they dont tell the principal or the dean if this is college and get him suspended....he know better than that
