same for having any kids in the first place.
bugs me when gays are so damn hot on getting a child.if they were not gay they could have their own.or if as they are, everyone was gay who would be having kids?IT WOULD be an outdated concept and we would be struggling to get science into making it for us...and using all sorts of artifical stuff.
and before anyone calls me a bigot...that shows that you cant take critiscm....nor any other views regarding it.so speak clear and to the point rather than abuse

Ahem, don't think the guy actually said that everyone should be gay. The word IF is the giveaway! Someone mentioned about reading before posting - I think there are a few here who should do just that - READ THE BLOODY QUESTION - and don't just pick out what you think is relevant.
I think he maybe getting a wee bit mixed up though, because as we all know, gay and lesbian people CAN and DO have children, albeit not in the "usual" reproductive way.
I do have an issue with people who are perfectly capable of having children by the usual methods who want to get IVF through the NHS. I don't and never will agree with this. I couldn't have children because of infertility problems. I was offered ONE chance at IVF and at the age I was then, had about as much chance as a snowball in hell of getting pregnant. Get my drift? If, on the other hand, a person - any person - has fertility problems, then yes, get all the help you can and get it quick.
And before some people start shouting that I'm homophobic, loads of my friends are gay and lesbian. I don't give two f*cks what you are, as long as you're a nice person!

I pity you. Is there any reason for this hate, or are you just too insecure about your own sexuality. Or trying to prove you know biology?
No, two men or two woman cannot reproduce. Well done. Bet you got an A in biology. And the whole world would never be gay as we are all different.
You are a bigot. Its not that I can't take critism (I'm bi before you say anything) its because you clearly show yourself as a bigot. And you're arguement is pretty crap if I'm being honest. I'm not even sure what you are trying to prove other than you are insecure about your sexuality, that you don't like being called a bigot even though you are and that you listened in biology. Want a medal?

Who is saying everyone should be gay? Not gay people, not straight people, as far as I know, just you. Sexual orientation does not mean someone does not want to be a loving parent. So, is your tirade against adoption in general? Do you think that the number of gay people is contributing to a human UNDER-population problem? You begin with a weird premise, and try to support an argument from that. And throw in pre-emptive defensiveness in case anyone disagrees with you. Tell you what, when we get to the point that the human birth rate is a problem, we'll look at the reasons scientifically and come up with a reason. Let's not just make up (a) a problem and (b) a reason to support our prejudice.
Edit: OK, I'll cut you some slack. Your edit that your opinion is probably ignorant is really touching. You're willing to learn. So let's break your question down to it's most basic aspect, and throw all the implied prejudices out. If your question is; IF every human being were gay WOULD people still be able to procreate? The answer is Yes, they would. (But you already knew that).

This is implying that they are infertile in some way, and they are not. Plenty of gay people DO have children of their own, and are perfectly capable of raising a child to be a productive adult (and NOT be gay, believe it or not).
You're also assuming that somehow gay people would take over our species. We'll always have plenty of heterosexuals to carry on the race, but as I've said, gay people are fertile too and can still have kids. A gay male couple could use a surrogate mother, while a gay female couple could sleep with a guy and get pregnant that way.
A bigot is someone who holds prejiduce against an entire group of people based on ignorance- so yes, this makes you pretty much a bigot.

The point is - not everyone is gay. Some people are, some aren't - so what?
Being homosexual does not stop you being a good and loving parent. Just because people have the ability to produce children doesn't make them better parents - far from it, when you hear about the number of children who are being abused and neglected.
I'm afraid you are a bigot - I can take criticism, but who are you to criticise my view simply because it doesnt match your own? I'm not homosexual, but I have no right to judge anyone just because they are different to me, and neither do you. Live with it.

Um, I presume that you realize that sperm lives about 2 minutes outside the body and that "turkey baster babies" have been around for decades. No sexual contact is necessary really, in fact, a gay couple and a lesbian couple can form a coalition to have children....
BTW -- recognizing bigotry does not mean that someone can't take criticism. Nor is it abuse, as much as you like it to be, when someone recognizes reality. I'm not calling you a bigot, because I personally don't care. Your post shows a complete lack of actual worldly knowledge -- as demonstrated by my notations in paragraph one -- so to me what you think becomes largely immaterial. However, to attempt to cut off discussion or accusations of bigotry by preemption is not only silly -- particularly when untruthful -- but also counterproductive -- as you evidence exactly the behavior you accuse others of.

Actually you are talking nonsense. Human beings are an evolving species just like any other, and like all other animals, our basic instinct is survival, which means reproduction (which means opposite sex attraction). So all humans being gay is not possible from an evolutionary point of view.... and maybe homosexuality has its uses for keeping the population in check so that planet does not become even more overcrowded? And at least that means there are childless couples available to adopt the many children who's birth parents have to give them up for adoption!!!
Well said Radagast!!!

But straight people who can't have kids will go for scientific ways to have children. Because they want children and deserve them. I feel that anyone who has room in their heart, house, and can afford to have children should be allowed too regardless of their sexuality. Your sexuality doesn't define you as a parent, it defines your sexuality. :) I feel that if for some reason the world went gay, there would just be the science ways to have kids and why would that be a bad thing? People who can't have kids now do it and it's not a problem, is it? :)
Edit: why do I have thumbs down? I don't think you're a bigot, you posed a question and I answered it. I have no problem with your question, as it's your view point and your question. I hope you get good answers that fit your question well. :)

Kids who are on the adoption register have usually had a hard life already, please dont add to their strife by placin them with homosexuals as gaurdians, not because they will sexually abuse them,i dont think all homosexuals are paedophiles but because they have enough to face growing up in a foster home without the inevitable bullyin and ridecule they will have for having immoral and un-natural gaurdians! Please remember this is not about homosexuals rights it`s about the rights of the child to have the best care they can get

That whole question was based on one premise, that being gay is a choice. It's not. It's genetic. If people are born gay, why would we have to subject ourself to a "straight" relationship to have children when there are thousands of homeless kids out there that need a good home?
