I recently had a discussion about this with a friend. We came to the conclusion that with all those (rich) people flying all over the world, places get less and less special. I'd like to go to an unique place, doesn't have to be the most beautiful country in the world, just don't want to run into my fellow countrymen over there :)!!

I've been in Spain a dozen times. Try visiting Sevilla and the Costa Del Sol, especially Malaga, Torremolinos, and Puerto Banus. But don't be fooled; unless you go in June, July, August, or September, the water will be cold !!!!

Italy is beautiful. Venice should not be missed. Go to Florence, and then take the train for a full day to LUCCA, which is only about one hour train ride away. (see website below)

Visit Prague while you're still young. It's the hottest place in Europe for all young people. Everyone goes to Prague.

I want to visit Zakynthos, Greece. (google it, it's amazing)

The Seychelle Islands
Easter Island
Torres del Paine National Park in Chile
Egypt.... and take a nile river cruise
Bulgaria (beautiful, like old fashioned Europe used to be!), and great beaches
Bora Bora

Rio de Janeiro in Brazil is beautiful. I've also been there about a dozen times. If you can afford it, stay at the Copacabana Palace hotel. It's an experience, and has the most beautiful swimming pool I've ever seen.

I'd love to go to Egypt. Japan and China would be awesome too. Anyplace there is centuries of recorded history would be great.
