You have to define "child like" and "childish" to have people understand.
A sense of wonderment is a child-like behavior.
Holding your breath and throwing a tantrum is childish

Well, its been our experience that it is not acceptable. I'm 37 and so is my husband. We still turn the music up and dance in our home, prank call our friends from internet soundboards, ride wave boards etc. We like having fun. Our children's friends parents have referred to us as "big kids", and when we converse with them we've noticed the condescension. We might have a certain youthfulness to us, but its what keeps us from becoming stale, boring stuffed shirts. We may just be a rare breed. We don't even watch the news unless its being delivered by a comedian. Bill Maher, etc. Seriously, the current state of affairs in the U.S. is created by "grown up behavior." It would be so much better if kids were in office. As long as childlike behavior is legal and doesn't hurt anyone I'd say anything that makes you happy is fair game. Who gives a tird if its not acceptable. Good luck with your assignment. From a psych major.

I mean i guess it could be good for certain jobs, such as a daycare employee or a small grade teacher. People who like to be around kids and have fun with them. But they do need some level of maturirty. This is just my opinion.
