My advise, to pass the test, you have to do the following:

1) Go the area where the test will be undertaken and drive for couple of hours for three successive days before the test (at a time similar to the time of your test)

2) Always have your instructor with you (he has to go with you to the test)

3) Sleep well the night before the test

4) There is a Video CD at PC world ( Made by DVLA), its good to see !

5) You have to behave as stupid during the test ! ( Keep turning your head from one mirror to the other like headless chicken !)

6) Try to open a friendly discussion with the examiner but let him start the discussion first then drag him more !

7) Wearing micro skirt would help if your examiner is a man, generally, don't wear a trouser on you exam day !.

8) Good luck !

Experience and more experience is the key. As a standard piece of driving it is not that difficult but boy did it show up my faults (passed 3rd time) The examiner will make notes but they may be from something a while ago not what you are doing them Remember they are an observer and it is best they you do not chat because as far as is possible they try to make themselves inconspicuous. They do not expect you to be perfect they want you to be a safe driver. The one thing I found difficult was to reverse around a corner. if they still do that and it is all going wrong do not hesitate to move forward again to straighten yourself up, but make sure it is safe.. do not make errors on traffic signs. Good luck but rely on your newly acquired skill

Well, you can buy some Videod Lessons from the company I work for. They are made by a Supervising Examiner (a guy who runs a UK Test Centre, and tests Examiners and Driving Instructors), so they are top quality (www.Learner Driving .com)

Good Luck with your test!

Get as much practice as you can drive around with some1 (obeying all the traffic laws of course) try and imagine what your instrutor would be telling you as you drive but most importantly stay Relaxed!!!

as a side note i think your instructor can come with you on your test so ask them if they would be willing to do so!!

GOOD LUCK!!!!

Honestly just concentrate on the questions part, the video bit is just common sense; you see something - you click the mouse.

Swat up on your signs, stopping distances; especially which lane/road markings, safety/night riding, road risks (horses, bridges, crossings) and the like and you'll be fine.

You get loads of time, i had about 23mins to spare on the questions part; so take your time and flag anything your not sure of. You can always go back and review at the end if you want to.

But seriously, the video bit is just watch and click when you see anything move (pedestrian, oncoming vehicle, animal, ball, etc).

Good luck.
