There might be a computer store somewhere that might be able to repair it.

Hmmm... You seem to be in quite a predicament. Unfortunately, such damage is not repairable, since the temperatures required to melt the gold required to repair the pin, and then the temperature required to "freeze" it in place would result to the processor being destroyed. I'm afraid that you will have to go for a new processor.

P.S. Check if it is within warranty, but i seriously doubt it...

You will probably not be able to repair a broken processor pin. See if you can purchase a new one on E-bay.

it'll be cheaper to buy a new one
check ebay i just bought an amd athalon 64 3500+ for 15.50 on there which is better than a P4 so you should be fine
