The XG350 is a solid car that was replaced in 2006 with the Azera model, I bought an Azera and love it. If you can drive a stick the Mazdaspeed 6 is an awesome car for about the same money.

I say a good long walk beats driving an XG350. I've had them as rentals about 50 times. The XG350 is a crap weasel automobile. For the price of a used one, there are literally a dozen other cars that would be a much better buy. Hyundai is a much improved manufacturer. The 350 is the last of their shame-mobiles.
For the price of a used XG350, you could buy a 2003-4 Honda Accord V6, Toyota Avalon (similar market) or Nissan Maxima. The Avalon is boring, but a far better car.
The new Azera, while still a Hyundai, is a pretty decent driver. Much improved over the XG350 sled.
