Yes Dot you may well be right... maybe I should take it's legnth times it by seven divide by 2 and find a common denominator of the square root......

its about from here to there and if u divide it right here and then multiply it from here by the amount from there u should get a figure that u multiply by pi and divide by pi again... standard proceedure. That my friend.. is how u find the length of a string

Umm.. I'm no expert, but I would think that a 'piece of string' is not really a technical term, and would therefore be undeterminable as long as you aren't talking about a specific string.
