If you are wearing a tampon, and there's no leakage, it is alright to swim for no longer than 2 hours. Afterwards you have to check if it's soaked. However, isn't it uncomfortable to swim with a tampon?

Just wear a tampon, it is no big deal. I have a pool and go in it all the time with a tampon in.

Yeah you can swim with your period, wear a tampon and keep the string in the baithing suit. Make sure you change it every 4-8 hours because of the risk of leaking and the risk of TSS! goodluck

Yes you can swim with a tampon in but you need to change it when you've finished swimming. Make sure the string isn't dangling out of your bikini bottoms or whatever.

You can swim ONLY if you wear a tampon.
Water does not stop a period. It just washes the blood away.

i thinkthe INSTEAD cup is a better alternative to tampons. and yes, you can go swimming in a pool while on your period.

the soft cup (INSTEAD cup) does not have a string, so there wont be any worry of it slipping out of your bathing suit.
you can find them at www.softcup.com.
i think they also sell them at CVS and Walgreens, but im not totally sure.
