Ahhhh. What?
Oh, I see. You are awarded another base if the ball goes out of play. And that's different fromm field to field. But be careful. Because if you overrun first and start to turn toward second, you can be tagged out. So unless you know the ball is out of play, dont try to take the extra base.

depends on where the overthrow goes? if it goes out of play then you are awarded what is called 1+1 that is the base you were headed to plus the next base for the error on the throw

You only get the free pass to the next base if the ball go out of play. Many overthrows just go into foul territory but stay on the playing field, and in this case you would run at you own risk.

When the throw goes out of play, the award is two bases. What base the award is given from depends on the situation.
If the ball goes out of play on the first throw by an infielder, everyone advances two bases from the time of the pitch. Unless everyone had advanced at least one base by then, in which case the award is two bases from the time of throw. In all other cases the award is two bases from the time of the throw. 7.05 (g)

You can advance at your own risk unless the overthrow goes out of the field. In other words out of play!

As long as the ball stays in the playing field ( it doesn't go into the dugout or over the fence) the ball is still in play. YOu may advance to the next base, but it's not a freebee they can tag you out.

Depends. If the ball is still in play you can be tagged out; however if it goes out of play (in an MLB game into the stands or dugout for example) you will be awarded the next base automatically

You should always be running as hard as you can so you might be able to get an extra base. If it goes into the stands or the dugout, you get the next base automatically, but if it doesn't go into the stands or dugout, it is still in play. You might get two extra bases if you run as hard as you can.

If the ball stays in play the ball is live and they can try to get you out. If the ball goes out of play you are awarded the base you are headed to plus one.
