I've enjoy the action-paked episodes, each enemy stronger than the other, powering-up everytime punching and kicking his way through evry battle, screaming, blasting, moving and flying at amazing speeds...
I'm sure i'm not the only one looking and not finding something to my satisfaction... :P
...Oh! and also any mecha anime similar to gundam... i'm watching Zegapain right now, it's not bad, but i would like more :P ...thank you for you answers in advance!

let's see. If you're interested in DBZ and DB GT and Gundam, there are tons out there that i would recommend but i think I'll name a few of my favorites:
1. Naruto
2. Bleach
3. Devil May Cry
4. D-gray Man
5. Zombie Loan
6. Hellsing
As for mecha, the latest mecha series out there currently are:
1. Code Geass: Lelouch of Rebellion
2. Heroic Age
3. Soukou no Strain
4. Gurren Lagann
5. Full Metal Panic
6. Sky Girls
7. Idolmaster XENOGLOSSIA
well, i think that is some of the anime that i recommend.

It sounds like you're looking for something that's recent, popular, action packed, still being produced, has 100+ episodes, and has the characters' abilities developing/increasing with each battle.

As far as I know, only two anime fit that description: Naruto and Bleach. Like Dragonball Z, both have a huge stable of supporting characters, many just as interesting (and in some cases more entertaining) than the 'main' characters (for example: Ikkaku Madarame in Bleach and Kakashi-sensei in Naruto). The advantage of Bleach and Naruto over Dragonball Z or GT are the storylines (in that they actually have one).

Yu Yu Hakusho is another in that vein but it's not very recent.

Try Vision of Escaflowne. It's got mechs and a full-out war.

BTW, the newest anime is rarely the best. Now that anyone and their dog can dl anime or get it on cable (usually with terrible dubs), a lot of companies are making foreign-geared stories that are dumbed down and will more easily pass the censor boards. If you want the more interesting stuff, you need to look at the anime that were so good they started this cultural sharing revolution.
