Under Armour - "spandex long leg shorts" nothing under them. They come down just above the knee on me. Wear something like a basketball short over top them.

RE:
Best underwear for men to wear working out?
I workout 5-6 days a week and do a lot of running but after I start sweating my boxer briefs starting riding up and rubbing against my thighs. I'm trying to find out what kind of underwear is best for men to workout in.

As for the running, you need to buy running shorts. They have built in underwear that won't irritate you. You can get running shorts at any sports store, like Dick's, and most department stores, like Target.

If you workout that regular, and particularly if you are into heavy weight training, you "have to" be wearing a gym/athletic supporter. Apart from being the best option in terms of comfort, they are also a necessity if you are into "building". In that case, its not really a choice, you have got to be wearing them unless you want to risk getting a hernia or the likewise!
However, if you are more into light weights and aerobics, anything ranging from a jock strap and tight briefs to boxer-briefs can work, depending upon your comfort.

While I'm usually a boxers guy, I find it best to wear something with more elastic/spandex when working out, so as to minimize bouncing and chafing and keep everything in place.

Try compression shorts/sliding shorts, they are very flexible, and wick moisture away from you body and stay in place. They also help keep muscles warm, keep the blood from pooling and keep your boys from bouncing around too much. You can find them on line for under $10 bucks. If all else fails try a jock strap, not very pretty but gets the job done.

I have found that believe it or not speedos work realy well. but the best thing to get is a pair of 'skins' they are made for running and also reduce lactic acid. i have found when i run in skins i can do and extra 5km or so. they will be about $70AU by memory. and are sold at most sport and bike shops.

Briefs or stay at Boxer Briefs. Try a speedo or don't wear any. But DON'T use just boxers. If you do squats, then most likely, you'll rip your boxers.
