Too many people marry for the wrong reasons. Some people start out with the best of intentions and along the way things change. Sometimes things happen to make it change and sometimes your eyes just get opened to what you really have. But I don't think anyone gets married with the intention of getting divorced. Some just jump before really assessing the situation.

Living together is great but that little piece of paper does mean more.

Not much of a difference if you' were not marriage. You just have a piece of paper that makes it official to everyone. What you go through in a marriage can be gone through too without a wedding and all that jazz. If the unmarried couple call it a breakup, the married couple call it a divorce.

Kids? You can have kids without getting married. they are just called 'born out of wedlock'. So if it's just the matter of how the term is of being married and unmarried in social setting, what difference does it make?

marriage is a wonderful experience with the right man, that's the key. what i didn't know early on was that i had control over what kind of man i could marry. so i married the first guy i fell for.
if i had to give advice for a happy marriage is this: if a man loves nascar and you don't, loves partying and you don't, loves wrestling and you don't, you will not be happy. bottom line. they will not change.

I personally think if it's done right it can be something great but I also think that this day in age people are taking advantage of it and doing it just to do it and not really knowing the meaning of it, pretty much saying they're in love but don't really know what love is.
