Nothing with a weird spelling.

What about family names?
Just give the child a chance for dignity as an adult
There is usually a cute baby name that fades away. We thought about calling our son John "Jack or Jackie" but we ended up calling him John-John
When he was 4 years old one day he said ,"My names John damnit!"so that was the end of that.
Now he's a college student and the last time I picked him up I heard 30 people call him Jack!

But his legal name is John Martin --------- Jr.
Martin might do well for a boy. It honors both traditions.
Martin Luther King Jr was named after Martin Luther who was the first protestant leader to successfully break from the catholic church.

I don't know if there is a such thing as black names and white names I thought all names were the same but how about Steve, Micheal, hector, Jason, or Richard for boy names. how about Nancy, Yvon, Evelyn, Lily, or Debbie for a girls name. Congratulations on the baby.

Go for a far out name then, somthing Italian or Spanish might be nice.

I like Tanya, Tracy, Grace, Karen, Felicia, or Stacie.

I have included a web site full of all sorts of baby names, and it has several catagories, as well as a search that will tell you the meaning and the origin.

A good tip for this is to try a white name with a black spelling. For example...Cameron is a perfect name for a white boy...but if you spell it Camoryn or Cameryn....It looks Black but sounds white.

Stephanie is a perfect name for a white girl. But if you spell it Stephanye it looks black but sounds white.

Samantha....Samayntha

Oh, come on...Asian names? :)
I understand the black / white thing woth the names. Some sound too white (Bobby), others too black (Denzel...lol). How about Darius? My brother's name is Darius (Dariana for the girl)?
Anyway....other source of inspiration:

Also try to think about the meaning of the names. It's quite important.
