i am so tired of politicians who have infected me with this horrible disease and i know there is no relief in site, months to go until the elections for it to grow and expand. it is almost as bad as the cancer i have.

is there no politician or elected leader that honestly thinks of the good of the cournty rather than their own agenda and just trying to prove how the current administration has failed us?

the surge was deemed a failure before it started yet i hear no suggestions for a valid solution. i am sick of hearing about all the problems and sick of never hearing of a solution to our sad state of affairs.

i am sick because i see no heroes on the horizon and it should scare us all because we really are at war and the world has a vested interest in the outcome.

So you have that disease too? I think a lot of folks on YA are looking for a real winner and there isn't any - at least right now. I am neither a republican or a democrat and I am not liberal or conservative - I am a middle-of-the-roader that wants my country back. That's the bottom line and it doesn't look like the next election will produce any hopeful candidates willing to put EVERYTHING on the line for our country. NOT EVEN RON PAUL!!!

Yes, most politicians are more interested in their careers than in actually helping the country.

And of the few that are actually trying to do what they think is good for the country, about half of those are operating based on their own social and religious agenda, and not based on what would benefit everyone.

Our current situation is no different than any time in the past thousand years. We have people who want to break the law, and we have politicians who don't really care. In fact, the only real difference is that many of the criminals and terrorists ARE our politicians, as opposed to being someone else.

Sweetness--
A lot of us feel your pain ! Thing is, we all have had our hand in the making of what is going on -- so, there is a lot of blame that we, as individuals can take onto ourselves -- for it has been US who have listened to the same old drivel coming from the same "old boy networks" and have gone to the polls and placed the same old ****heads in control again and again and again !!! That is -- the ones that even took the time and effort TO vote (???)
And, I was amused at the first responder's post here -- with the Rudy link !! Talk about the same old same old --- another "stay the course" Republican for the white house ?? Give me a break !!!
There is a new voice to be heard here -- one that talks as did the Founding Fathers -- a unique and fresh view from the past as it were !!! One with solutions in tow --- and one that sees an America Free of the World Policing duties and STILL Free and Secure !! He has a lot of detactors because he is NOT of the same mindset as the media has indoctrinated people to follow blindly !! His name is Ron Paul !!!
Don't give up --- there IS relief from the "blame fatigue" that you suffer under --- a very strong and very secure New Day on the way -- and one that has FAR greater chances for success than some would lead you to believe !!!
And, here is hoping as well -- that some of that positive outlook -- hope -- and promise of brighter days can filter its way into your personal battle as well !!

Yes i think we can't even get real leaders anymore elected. With all the politicians presently it seems there is no one to be had without a crimanl record anymore. Our government is no longer by or for the people and our military controlled by the rich is causing world wide terror so now the only comfort being an american is hoping they will not bomb us inside u.s. borders
