I was on my motorbike,This rabbit shot out from a hedge and went under my back wheel,
The hight pich screaming it was making,was so creapy,
I was alone and this cat suddenly appeard down the road about well not far.
And it worried me so I just did what one of my brother's would have done,I finished it by braking it's neck,
Then I put it on the hedge.
I couldn't leave it for the cat to finish,cause I think that would have been cruel.
what would you have done? I love animals honest!

Yes, I am a hunter and have been since youth. You did the most humane thing possible. Accidents occur on the highways and animals are hit frequently. It bothers me to find carcasses of deer near highways that were hit but ran off far enough that all but a persistent search would find. The thought of their last moments in pain and agony are nothing I wish on anything. Some people call hunting cruel and inhumane however I do my best to make sure any suffering is at it's absolute minimum for the animal, often it is over in a matter of seconds, and am very angry with myself if I fail in this aspect. I have, myself stopped for animals that are injured but living along the roads to stop their suffering. Put yourself in the animal's place and decide if you'd like a broken neck or to be eaten while still aware but crippled. No choice here.

I used to roast ants under a magnifying glass. It's not like putting something out of it's misery. I would deliberately train a lazer beam to destroy the intelligent little morsel going about it's daily routine. Very sadistic when you stop to think of what humans are capable of;
at least I think that's the bracket I come under (homosapien)
The common theory now is; the more of yourself you offer up;
the more they have got to use against you.
OR
You can't lead a more fulfilling existence by mearly offering up all you have simply to have it primed and returned in the most inexcusable fashionâª

I was riding my pushbike along a country lane and spotted a rat running along besides me the other side of the fence, suddenly it run out in front of me , i hit it with the front wheel and then I felt a crunch and heared a loud sqeek, I didn't look back and peddled off as quick as possible. wasn't nice but "Hey I thought a rat would be a lot smarter than that"!!!

I think sometimes you have to finish off an animal if it is injured and in pain. A friend once ran over a chicken by accident and it was injured so ran over it again to kill it. Sad.
I might kill the odd spider of two, plus any little ants/bugs

i have in the past put a rabbit with myxomatosis out of it's misery, when the big tough men around me have shirked the job.
better to put an animal out of it's suffering, than leave it to a worse fate, dying slowly in agony.
i love animals too, but a rabbit in distress is different.
i cry but i still put it down.
you did the right thing.

A snowy white owl flew in front of me on the freeway. I was devastated and had to pull over to the side of the road for awhile and cried for over an hour.
Snowy white owls are magnificant birds and I'd never seen one. This incident crushed me.

i killed my love birds by accident. there was a beatle in my bedroom (I'm so afraid of insects) and i started to spray him with some shoe cleaner stuff. my birds couldn't breathe with the fumes from the aerosol. i saw they were breathing really slow so i picked them up and ran up the town to the vets with them but when i got to the vets the receptionist said there was no vet working today. they died a few minutes later.

i would have brought it to a vet....i have cats. i love them and i wouldn't hurt them or any animals. i only kill bugs and i kill them only when they ignore my warnings...
i went to the country side with my cats for a couple of days. and one of my cat has the habit of bringing live mice in the house and torture them inside and then leave the body for me to pick up...it is very hard to pick up a small mouse that looks exactly as my stuffed plushie mouse
