Kennedy goes to the top rope to come down on the Hitman, but Bret gets up and throws Mr Kennedy to the canvas. Hart takes control of the match and finally wins with a sharpshooter.

The assault starts outside the ring. Kennedy chops away as the Hitman stumbles down the ramp toward the ring. Kennedy then picks Bret Hart up and rams him into the ring pole. He tosses Hart in the ring and the bell sounds.

Kennedy already is trying to end it. He picks up Bret and tries for the Green Bay Plunge but Hart blocks it and tosses Kennedy to the mat below. He gets settled on the second rope and hits the elbow drop and now Hart has the momentum.

He follows up the elbow drop with a snap Suplex. With Kennedy down, he goes to set up the Sharpshooter, but Kennedy blocks it and kicks Bret through the ropes. Hart tumbles down to the ring floor.

Kennedy rolls out and whips Bret into the steps, hitting the shoulder Kennedy hurt last Monday night. He grabs Bret and throws him back in the ring.

He starts working on Hart's arm, with a number of arm bars and elbows to the shoulder. A few minutes later. Hart gets up and hacks away at Kennedy. He hits a swinging Neckbreaker and goes for the pin. Kennedy kicks out at 2.

He again tries the Sharpshooter. He gets the legs crossed but is having trouble turning over. Kennedy keeps fighting it but Hart finally gets Kennedy turned. However, Kennedy gets to the ring ropes and grabs the bottom rope, forcing Hart to break the hold.

Kennedy gets up and hits Hart twice in the gut. He follows it up with a Shoulderbreaker and is looking really confident. He goes to the top rope for the Kenton Bomb......NOBODY HOME. Bret Hart rolls out as Kennedy goes flying.

Hart gets up first, picks up Kennedy and nails the Piledriver. He stumbles toward the corner and gets on the second rope...FLYING ELBOW. His second of the match. He goes for the legs and locks in the Sharpshooter. Kennedy, nowhere near the ropes, taps out.

The winner of this match and still Intercontinental Champion, Bret Hart.
