I think hate is such a strong word, and although i dislike a few people, there are only a couple on my hate list who i would pay to see them have a grave misfortune, one being an ex boyfriend who lied to such an extent cost me thousands of pounds i almost ended up in court and at one point contemplated ending my life. Came through it all ok but have never had a realationship since. So he is on the hate list

Being honest, there are people i dislike without really being able to fully justify it. It's just part of human nature. But i don't hate/strongly dislike someone just because, let's say for instance, they look a certain way ie "He looks like a di**head", or because of just one thing. And i don't HATE people. Hate is a very overused word; it's a very strong word. I try not to hate anybody.

It is a common feeling and one has to avoid it because one can end up in situation he/she can regret for the rest of the life. Even if you hate some one try to pretend to like that person you might end up actually liking that person because you will try to see the good part of that person and you will find out that actully that the person is not all that bad you think s/he is

It's almost human nature to point out people's flaws. But speaking from the other side. I ALWAYS give bad first impressions. People are either intimidated by me, or think that I don't like them, which isn't necessarily the case. They just don't know enough about me to understand the way I am, and why I'm like that.

Maybe you need to get to know more about the girl.....
Or maybe you need a good shovel.

Usually for me it takes more then a few things for me to start really disliking someone.I can't say I have ever plotted to murder them though. I have plotted revenge :)

No. I've learned to store my dislikes and resentments so that I can have a truly historic rant against politicians, lawyers, bureaucrats and jobsworths when they do something particularly - and even for them monumentally - stupid.
See my question about Water charges and flood defences , in P&S, for an example of my bile.

No, someone has to do something really terrible for me to hate them. If I dislike someone for whatever reason, I usually respond to them with casual indifference. Hate is too much effort... lol.

You shouldnt hate anyone unless they have committed the worst sin, murdering someone you care for if that hasnt happened there is no reason to hate it will only poison you inside. Its not worth it.

If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or, being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise

you'rs is the world and everything in it - what is more - you'll be a man my son...... or daughter in your case

I try not to hate. I find I like myself more when I accept people for who they are. I realize I'm not perfect. Do people get on my nerves ? Yes! But hate is a strong word. The world would be so much better if we had more tolerance and less hate. Try to treat people as you would want someone to treat you.
