I enjoy reading imaginative books where the next book builds from what occurred in the previous books. Is there any series you could reccommend? Can be both children's(teenage) or adult's books.

Never miss "Unfortunate events" series by Lemony Snicket...There're 13 books and I've read 12 of them and just to finish the last one... I would say it's even better than Harry Potter...Trust me:)

p.s: visit the website bellow to see even more books besides the series.

Sharon Creech. Try Walk To Moons, Absolutly Normal Chaos, Wanderer, and something with Ruby in it. But yeah ive read them all.

Lemony Snicket's are so-so too. Try The

Frog Princess, Dragon Breath and that next sequal. allthough not very popular it is very good.

I also like Avis books including The Secret Diary Of Charolatte Doyle, The Man who was POe, Who Stole The Wizard Of Oz, Nothing But The Truth(Allnighter!), Midnight Magic, Something Downstairs, Dont You Know There Is A Warr Going On, Blue Heron, And The Books Without Words.

C.S. Lewis (Narnia) is wonderful as well.

Nancy Drew, yes it is a series but no the books dont reflect on each other.

I had to get this one off my bookshelf, Guardians Of Ga'hoogle. It is very intesting and i have read them all. I plan to read them again this summer,

Dear America, Books are good as well expecially if you like history,

Joan Bauar( Spelling on last name sorry!) also writes wonderful books like Hope Was Here And Best Foot Foward!

The Alex Rider Series is Wonderful! Althogh I have only to read Point Blank I hear Stormrider and the rest are just as wonderful. These build up with knowledge from book to book,

Trixie Belden, old fashioned but excellent just like the Nancy Drew except in my opinion better. As I am searching my book shelf or library as my family calls it

There are many folktales books such as Rebecca And The Sunnybrook Farm, Heidi, The Swiss Family Robinson, The Secret Garden, The Little House On The Praire, and I hesitate to say, The Little Mermaid. All are wonderful but not exactlly first priority,

All In All I apolize for having almost alll Childrens books but yet I am only 12 and am yet to journey into the more sofisacated area of adults books althouth much of the Young adults ones are terrific!

A Series of Unfortunate Events, odd but good for burning time.
The Inheritance Trilogy (ie. Eragon and most currently Eldest), much better than the movie.
The Chronicles Of Narnia, my old and personal favorites. They just never get boring, do they?
The Claidi Journals, a good series that are odd and intriguing. Something worth reading.
The various Dune books, I have found some good time burners, others are dull, but you never know, they may appeal to you.
Various Star Trek books, most are interesting, definitely for those who have grown up with Star Trek, or at least who grew up with a parent who was a Trekkie.

Sewart and Redell - Darkwood

garth Nix - Keys to the kingdom series starting with Mister Monday

Garth Nix - old kingdom series starting with Sabriel

Terry Pratchett - Jr witches series starting with The Wee Free Men
(though his nightwatch adult series is the best starting with Guards, Guards!)

J.R.R Tolkien starting with either The Hobbit or Fellowship of the Ring

Susan Cooper - The Dark is rising series

David Eddings: The Belgariad series atarting with Pawn of Prophesy. This goes on to the Mallorian series starting with, I think, Guardians of the west.

Christine Webb, only two books in the series though. Waywalkers & Timekeepers

examine Books from authors like :- James Hadley Chase J.R.R Tolkien Dan Brown Michael Crichton Jules Verne H.G. Wells Arthur Conan Doyle Agatha Christie Robert Ludlum Jeffrey Archer Stephen King Sydney Sheldon Leo Tolstoy i individually assure which you is fairly no longer bored. in case you like a fantasy e book like Harry Potter i could propose The Lord of the rings by utilising J.R.R Tolkien or His dark components by utilising Philip Pullman.

I read the Chronicles of Narnia series and enjoyed it. They already made the first book a movie and the next one comes out in 2008.
