Here's the thing I recently ordered something from ebay, something fairly expensive, and like an idiot left my old address as the shipping address. Now I moved about 6 weeks ago and I filed a change of address form about 6 weeks ago, I am trying to get some peace of mind about whether this change of address s still in effect and whether or not this package will go to my address. By the way it was shipped usps first class if that matters, thanks in advance for your help.

A change of address to the postoffice will stay in effect up to a year.
It should forward to your new address, UNLESS the shipper indicates "Do not forward".
Check with the shipper for date shipped. If it's been a while, put a tracer on it.
