Conan the Barbarian
Conan the Destroyer
Red Sonja
I was (am) an Arnie fan!
Also Bachelor Party - so much more entertaining than Hanks' later efforts.

Such memories!
The Dark Crystal I loved - but I watched that with my children! for me the all time film has to be National Velvet!
And - when I was a child - Boris Karloff in 'The Mummy' scared the pants off me. But in those days you mostly got the war propaganda films - even if the war was over! 633 Squadron - The Cruel Sea - so many!
Most memorable film? The Devil at 4.00 O'clock. Spencer Tracey, Frank Sinatra - I think! Half a dozen convicts sent to a leper colony - which was on a volcano -which decided to erupt! - Black and white! Best that you can get! - You don't even notice that it is not in colour!

Mary Poppins, Zulu, She Wore a Yellow Ribbon, anything by Ray Harrihousen, all those "Sword and Sandal" epics that used to be on TV. The Singing Ringing Tree on television, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Jungle Book, Science Fiction films.
I also liked the Fantasy and SF films that becca has chosen but I was older then.

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Dracula movies, The Creature From the Black Lagoon movies, most old school horror movies in general.
I liked The Dark Crystal too, but by the time Willow and Labyrinth came around I was in my late teens and married, so I wouln't consider them my "groing up years". I still loved them.

All the Tarzan pictures with Johnny Weissmuller, Abbott and Costello, The Cat and the Canary (a thriller, with Bob Hope!) all the films about the RAF (Flarepath etc.) and later The Dambusters. Much later "Genevieve" with Kenneth More.

I used to watch when I was growing up was none other than the classics gone with the wind and Casablanca and Wizard of oz. I used to watch those with a cup of cocoa. I used to love watching the film with my sisters and having a nice marshmallow in my cocoa. I loved it even at age 24 I still want to do the same. Now come on don't you just love a cup of cocoa watching a film?
