Before answering your question, I looked up the details on the internet.
It only appears that she has applied for a review of her sentence, convicted criminals are allowed to do that, it rarely changes the sentence, and seems most unlikely in this case.

Edit since your additional details, I have looked through the links on Google, and cannot find anywhere the suggestion that she is going to be released.
When I see a question on YA, I do not take the information within the question as fact, if I am not aware of it, I check it, and I cannot find confirmation of the information in your question. If you name the person who said it, or provide a link to the article, then I will research further.

Found the News of the World article, they haven't even named the person. I don't trust the News of the World, their sister paper printed a story about me and got 99% wrong. This is probably their attempt at self glory, they make out she is soon to be released, then, thanks to their readers she is being kept in prison, didn't the News of the World do a great job.
I don't buy newspapers, but if it was true it would have been on the BBC news.

This just goes to prove that after a certain amount of time we all forget the atrocities and instead start feeling sorry for the poor criminal who languishes behind bars. We have also forgotten about the innocent victims who are dead and long since rotted away. So the compassion and horror now shifts to the fact that this poor person is stuck helplessly behind bars, and we want to help. This is when the bleeding hearts come out and demand justice for the accused, and thus you have freedom granted to a vicious killer. Happens all the time.

One of the victims parents has vowed if Beverley Allitt is ever released she will hunt her down and to be honest I can't say I blame the mother for feeling this way.

Beverley Allitt should remain locked up till she dies, what punishment has she really served she is still young enough to have some kind of life even to go on to have children of her own. How can we allow someone soo evil to be part of our society.

Her victims are gone for ever because of the evil she did they will never have their life's back the poor little mites didn't even have their childhoods.

well at just over one year per murder-the parents of the murdered children will feel that justice has been served and be able to move on in good heart. alternatively the world would be a better place without twisted people polluting the air with there tainted evil breath.nothing wrong with a coil of hemp and a six foot drop in my book

I don't know the case, but if the murder was premeditated I agree with you. If it was accidental or there were other circumstances a parole might have been justifiable.

Generally the system does free too many prisoners who might offend again. Some of this is the result of prison overcrowding, but it is also possible there may have been other issues affecting guilt or innocence.

As anarchic as this may sound, I say bring back the death penalty.
Why should anyone deserve to live when they take life without a second thought.
As it is we are all paying for her to live a relatively luxurious life for the heinous crimes she committed, and now, we'll all pay for her to try and live a life of anonymity!
It makes me sick too.

i agree with yurieurie its about time they brought back the death penalty for murderers. if found guilty without a shadow of doubt then they should die for it . that way maybe our prisons wouldnt be full to bursting. their hardly living on bread and water are they?punishment HA!!!.nice to know my hard earned taxes go to feed and clothe this type of scum
