While issuing more than 400 pardons during his eight years of office, Mr. Clinton wiped clean the records of his half brother, Roger, who had been convicted of distributing cocaine;
John Deutch, a former CIA director who violated security laws; 16 members of the Puerto Rican separatist group FALN, some of whom had been convicted of violent crimes; and Susan MacDougal, a partner of the Clintons in Whitewater who had been convicted of misusing loan proceeds.

They can't make an honest criticism. But many of their supporters are dishonest, and they're playing to them.

A few points. All Presidents have the power to commute or pardon, Bush One used it just as many times as Clinton, and pardoned just as many criminals, because....guess what? Only criminals need a pardon. The Department of Justice maintains a website, and you can look it up. Libby was the lawyer for Mark Rich, the man Clinton pardoned that makes the right crazy. Libby's commutation is perfectly legal, but the man was Chief of Staff to another man who is looking to eliminate the office that is charge with the oversight of secrets. When even the President abide by the rights of that office. Clinton did his most controversial pardons when he left, that means he could not benefit from them, Bush is still in office and this also means he is willing to commute any of the other members of the inner circle if the judiciary gets too close to finding out something he doesn't want us to know. Now they all get the message that they won't be going to jail. Its not a moral thing, its a practical thing, by allowing this we will never have the transparency that our government is supposed to have. Doesn't that bother you at all?

I never regarded Clinton as treasonous. This administration however has no recognition of the Constitution or respect for the rule of law. Clinton was not ever my preference, but he led this nation far more wisely. Where is the proof Susan MacDougal was ever convicted of anything. Ken Star held her in jail for refusing to help in a GOP partisan witch hunt.
And guess what ? She was ordered released and never did cooperate with the Whte Water inquisition.
But the key issue is that Libby's sentence was consistant with DOJ guidelines. It should have been upheld.

They can't. They obviously suffer from some kind of mental disorder. I'm surprised so many people support Hillary Clinton for President. Or perhaps, as somebody else pointed out, the polls are innacurate. She would be one of the worst things to ever happen to the US if elected.

OK..... since people are so eager to compare.

Please go through those pardons that you seem to disapprove of, and identify how many of them violate DoJ pardon guidelines the way Bush's pardon of Libby did.

If you find that many (or even more than two) were in violation of DoJ guidelines, then you have a valid analogy.

But let me ask you this..... does the improper (but legal) conduct of one person automatically excuse the same improper conduct of another? Or should both be criticized for their (legal) actions.

Most of you seem to be blind when it comes to seeing wrong with the political party you support. Get a grip people, take the dunce cap off your pointed little heads and see what these people really are. They are lying, thieving, people that care only for themselves. Bush, Clinton, Kerry, their all alike.

ARE YOU TO BLIND TO SEE THAT???????????

Clinton's pardons were fully investigated by republicans for over year, they found nothing.
