Home and Away is the best show on TV you just don't know what's going to happen next.

'As the WORLD TURNS' is the best soap opera right now. The stories are more believable and the pace of the show is perfect, never boring or rushed. ATWT also is the only soap that is dealing with an openly gay character and an ex-porn star story.
Other soaps like General Hospital try to be like primetime series but they have shallow plot driven storylines that do not grab you and also very boring episodes in between that are simply shallow and dumb.
I strongly recommend ATWT, watch it online also (you can watch from your PC anytime or if you missed an episode you can always watch it online, another advantage other soaps do not have!)

You might think I'm crazy, but honestly I think the best soap on television is Passions. It is the most unique soap of them all!!! yes, some people might find it a little quirky, but I love it because they bring comedy into the soap,makes it less boring. Honestly, what other soap can you think of that would get cancelled off a major network like NBC and survive on satellite. Also, this show has just gotten saved up here in Canada on a brand new pay tv channel. It must have three lives. I can't wait until they launch the new season.

Most definitely AS THE WORLD TURNS! The characters are so interesting you can't help but see them as real people. It's so easy to get sucked into the storyline. Some times I really hate what is happening in the show, but that how life goes, even on TV.

GENERAL HOSPTIAL BABY!! i think that they deal more with real life situations and believable storylines. i cant stand f*** soaps with people finding out there married to a vampire or your baby is a f** alien. im sorry but that crap drives me insane. i love the characters in the show and i feel that they all are amazing. graphics are great and you rarely ever see some killed, buried, and brought back 9 months later claiming to be a twin or were never dead in the first place.

AMC & OLTL are good. Watched them a long time. Some stories drag, but I think stories drag on all soaps. AMC has classic actors - Susan Lucci, David Canary, Michael E. Knight, etc.
OLTL - Erika Slezak - won a lot of Emmys. I like to see good acting. Some characters are easy on the eyes, but can't act.

I watch OLTL and GH. GH is definitely the best soap on tv because it has the best storylines and actors/actresses.

I'd recommend Y&R. Even if you never watched it or haven't in a long time it's easy to get into or catch up with. Some of the storylines are love/hate. Even if you hate the character you can't stop watching because you're hoping someday they'll get their just desserts.

I like Days of our lives because I've been watching for years and it's just so addictive. I like The Young and the Restless because they have the most realistic storylines.

The young and the restless the stories never get old and the actors and actresses are fantastic
