Unfortunately during World War Two Japan did do some horrible things to the people in the lands they occupied, and the inhabitants have not forgotten. They slaughtered perhaps millions of Chinese and were no kinder anywhere else. Sad. Very sad. That's a bit of a loaded question with no evidence. The Japs did despicable things to Aussies in WW2, like shooting and torturing our nurses, but we don't hate Japan now. They even bombed our soil for the first time but we are friends.
