I would like to stop the war in Iraq. Lots of Iraqi children are killed each day and also many American soldiers die as well.

Unnecessary war.
Now I served the US for 20 years in the military. One of the reasons I retired was I started losing belief in the reasons we were fighting. (politics) When this happens to a Soldier/Sailor/Airman, he is not performing his duties heart fully and becomes a danger to himself and others in his unit. And the military machine structure breaks down.
I my opinion war is fought for a specific reason and there are only two out-comes. Win or lose! And to the victor goes the spoils. And hopefully the two sides accept this and eventually become friends so to speak. War should not be fought for political gain, financial gain as a priority, but as a humaitarian gain world wide if it has to be war at all. And if you win, you own it! Period! US property and so governed. (A little scary) It should not become a prolonged police activity to gain political strength, and power with other affiliates while our men/women are dying.
On the other hand, I believe that we (US) as one of the larger powers should keep our noses out of a lot of the worlds bussiness and concentrate on the Homeland problems like Immigration, terrorism, and social structure. These ideas might seem a little harsh or drastic but in my opinion...our times are harsh and drastic so the equivilant is needed as solutions. The animal kingdom weeds out the bad seed.
The US should:
-Pull out of all countries not wanting us there. Billions Saved
-Dissolve the UN or restructure it with even representation.
-Call in All Foriegn Debt! Now! You dont win a war, make a pact, etc...and then finance it under someone elses rule/govt! Trillions regained to pay our debts!
-Reppell all borders! Close the US borders for a minimum of 5 years! No new citizenships and limited visas. US Citz living abroad..see ya in five years! Try getting citz in some of the other countries...aint happening...or your a millionaire buyin in.
