This one is easy.

Imagine that, as there are equal numbers of bags of each, that adding the two together gives you 30 sweets

20 + 10 =30

Divide the total number of sweets by 30

1200/30 = 40

we know that 30 = 20 + 10 so that gives you 40 bags of each

40 x 20 = 800
40 x 10 = 400

800 + 400 = 1200

You have packed 20 sweet and 10 sweet in two bags, so that these are 30 sweets you had placed in two seperate bag.
Now divide 1200 bags with 30 sweet . The result is 40 small and 40 large. Since they are equal, therefore you have made 40 small bag and 40 large bags. Therefore your answer is 40 large bags. This is without using algebra.

if the large bag is "a" and the small is "b", a+b=30 sweet
x is the numbers of bag, so x(a+b)= 1200, x(30)=1200, x=1200/30=40bag, then its 40 large bag and 40 small bag
the total sweet in the large bag is 40x20=800 , and the total sweet in the small bags is 40x10=400 and when you add 400 to 800 = 1200 and that the answer ;DD
