I have been talking to my doctor, and he says I am wasting my money. There is not enough in the capsule to make any kind of difference in the health of your Prostrate. I have asked other people also, and the response has been the same. Does anybody have a diffferent opinion on this subject?

Saw Palmetto does help, but only in a small way. There are other factors to consider for good prostate health. Good nutrition is a good foundation to start with. Zinc is good for prostate health, but you don't have to buy a bottle of zinc supplements. Instead, there's pumpkin seeds (not to mention that yummy pumpkin pie). Look to things like squash, eggplant, pumpkin, and other vegetables rich in zinc. I think your doctor's main concern with supplements is, that they either have too much or too little to do any real good. Too much can be harmful, while too little can be ineffective. Your best bet is eat well, get enough exercise, get enough rest. Have a little fun, raise a little hell.

It worked for me! I've had no more enlargement since I started taking saw palmetto about 5 years ago, and I'd had a chronic problem for about a year before that. My doctor actually suggested I try it, and it really did the trick.

Some doctors think only expensive drugs that the salesmen talk about a lot can have good results. Fortunately my doc was more open-minded.

in the US the medical community doesn't support or recognize the idea of natural treatments. around the world, saw pawmetto is used to treat prostate enlargement plus a few other medical issues related to prostate care.
frequently, you'll find over the counter pills that contain natural herbs, with reports that they don't work. some of that is correct, however, most likely, after looking at the pills people take, you'll discover that the amopunt of the drug used was small, making it sub-clinical and ineffective. there are other over the counter pills you can take for your prostate health; vit E, selenium, Q-10. if anything at all, these wont hurt. depending on what your issues are, there are prescription medications that work like proscar. hope i helped clear some of this up.

All the doctors say the same thing, but the people who well it say differently. We don't know who to trust. Guess we will have to rely more on proper diet and exercise.
