Well... I think I agree with most people, as soon as you get the homework, do it and get it out of the way! I am in year 10 now and I do the homework when I get it, even if I do it during a lesson or @ a lunchtime because then you can use your afterschool time 2 do whatever you want!!

You only get one chance at a good education. There is so much to learn that it can't all be done in class time hence homework. The best way is to be methodical and whilst you are still in the learning mode do it as soon as you get home. Set aside enough time. Ultimately it doesn't matter to the teachers whether you want to learn or not. Their job is to provide you with the knowledge and skills you need for later life. Your job is to take it all in and learn it. The choice is yours. Either grow up as a well-balanced, intelligent person with a decent job and good lifestyle or be dumb and with a dead end poorly paid job (if you can find one) and a poor quality of life because you lack the intelligence to appreciate finer things. I know which I would, and did, choose. My childhood was very poor due to my father being shot in WWII by the Germans and dying when I was just 10 years old. My mother had to work all hours to keep a roof over our heads and bring up my sister and me. We couln't afford many new clothes, decent food or holidays. We didn't even have a T V until I was 17. We lived in a rented council house in the poorer part of town. My sister and I decided to utilise our brains and get out of this lifestyle. Result :We both qualifuied for and did extremely well at Grammar School. My sister ended up with a chain of shops and I became a Bank Manager. We both bought houses in the better areas and lived comfortably and well. Many of my friends who had a better start, but did not study as hard, ended up working in factories and coal mines.

Believe me, doing homework and increasing your knowledge goes a long, long way to having a good life. Do it!

It is about approaching it with the right attitude.

Now we all have to do things we dislike.

Work life is not a lot different to school, in that most of us get told what to do.

I have a large workload and need to keep up with it, because if I start to lag behind my targets I will feel I have failed.

Try to take one piece of homework at a time, don't look ahead just deal with one day at a time and try to complete the work quickly and to a reasonable standard.

When you get some praise at school, enjoy it, because you must have done something right to be rewarded with praise.

Remember that although you may not like all the teachers, they are just doing their job, which you can make either easier or harder for them. If you make it easy, then you get praised.

Good luck, take one page at at time!

well, no student can ever rid of homework.
i think by planning ur time carefully will help u get some free time
eg. when no teachers are entering the class, u should do ur homework. by doing this, u won't bring homework back to skul.
i also think u should try and put a positive attitude towards homework. u should find urself doing it faster and u'll become happy. it rids stress.

Become smart enough to finish it in school. LOL

I was not that fortunate, I had to do some homework, but made it a first thing when I got home routine. So I could get on with the rest of the day/eve.

Another teen who hates homework whats new ???

me where will it get you?
Is the homework part of the cirriculum i think so, ask yourself please what do i want to be doing when i leave school ?
The teachers are there for your benefit not to be working against you, any problems really with it just ask but plz do not run away from it because it will come back and bite you.

If you don't want the homework, don't do the course. Although, you will regret it. If you want a qualification , you will happily do the homework
