What kind of newt can live with other types of fish..and the tankd is deep...if i put a floating island will it prevend my newt from drowning

Newts are very messy and require extremely powerful filters. It will also eat any fish it can fit in its mouth. You would be better off not using fish, if the fish has a parasite and the Newt eats it, the Newt has a parasite.Just make sure the island is about 1/3 of the tank surface and will be able to support the adult weight of the Newt.

newts cant lie with fish as fish want a environment safe from other things

No fish. They require diffrent water type. And newts should live in shallow water, half water half land

Usually somewhat smaller, less aggressive community fish.
