Do you support Euthanasia for people who are dying of a terminal illness, and are of sound enough mind to make such a decision in consideration of the consequences? This could take place in form of actually Euthanising the person, or by assisted suicide. Why/why not?
Serious answers only please.

I believe that if someone has a torturous illness that is incurable- they should have the right to end their own misery- in a dignified manner & with assistance, if necessary.

Therefore, I support euthanasia.

It is illegal in most countries. But I would really like to be able to decide when i wanna die. I know a few people who don't have terminal sickness but are suffering so badly from pain that all they can think of is dying. For me if the person is suffering so much that every passing minute is torture for them, and they wish to pass away then I think they should be granted. People always say that it's not our role to play God and it's only for him to decide when. But what if you've been so sick for 10 years, suffering from so much pain & most medicine won't work on you anymore, is that what HE really wants for people...to see them suffer? Ain't there too much suffering on earth already?

I still consider it murder, so it is wrong. I don't have a problem with a living will that states to remove life support, where the body can't live on it's own.
