There are degrees of honesty, and it depends on what I'm telling them the truth about.

If it's about whether or not I like their new shirt, and it looks hideous on them, my answer will likely be "Well, it's not something I'd wear...but then you know if it's not jeans and a T-shirt, I'm not happy." or I'll give a thoughtful, "I'm not sure I like the color on you..you have such gorgeous and that just doesn't do them justice."

If it's about something which can alter their lives...should I marry this man, they'd likely get a "You need to do what you want, but I don't like the way he treats you, and I don't want you to be unhappy. "

or should I do meth...would get "I don't know..are you stupid? Between what it does to you physically, and the fact it's illegal, do YOU think this is a wise choice?"

All honest, but the degree varies.

What is truth?
Just because you believe something to be true, does not mean you know what your talking about.
Be very careful before you hurt someone that what you speak is the truth.

Yes. It may suck to hear it. You may not want to hear it. It may even hurt you even worse to hear it. But the truth must be told, or else another part of you will be just another lie. The truth must be told, and it must be heard.

Nope... if im gonna hurt somebodys feelings i better think how am i gonna say it... that wont hurt the person. or i would think how long do i have to wait until i say the whole truth... and obviosly i would stop the lying!!... so i dont have to think how to fix all my lies... :)

No; I'd hold back.
The truth is not always a good thing, and not always what people need to know.
