1 foot = 12 inches = 2.54 cm

so,

convert to inches

12'6"= 150 inches
16'5"= 197 inches

convert to cm

150x2.54=381
197x2.54=500.38

convert to meters (easy! move the decimal over)

381 cm = 3.81 meters
500.38cm = 5.00 meters (rounded)

now multiply to find the area!

3.81meters x 5.00 meters = 19.05 square meters!
