I'd only ask a question when I needed the answer and didn't know it and didn't know anyone that knew it. I am not one to ask questions on yahoo answers for the sake of asking. I might in Polls & Surveys though, because that's a different type of question.

Yes usually I think about asking about something for a minute or 2 then I decide to type it out.

I often plan a question before I surf into YA. Sometimes a question pops up in my head while I'm sitting in front of the computer.
