Cervical cancer does not care whether or not you're sexually active. You should definitely be having yearly pap smears by now...no way to correct the past--but it's never too late to start the future!

I got cervical cancer when I was 19. It was detected with my first pap, I have been sexually active since I was 17, I'm now only 25 and I have to have a pap every 12 months (It doesn't run in the family, so my doctor was surprised). This is not bad if you haven't but I would suggest that you get one the next time you go to see the doctor.

Yes, it is very concerning, and will be to a doctor too when they ask when your last pap smear was if you are going in for your annual physical.
Also, the guideline for pap smear is to have one at either age 18 or 21 or sexually active whichever comes first.
Virgins should have pap smears as well. They are not immune from getting HPV. I've had it before.

I have to say Law Man, that I thought 'New Age' was a modern genre, from the 1990s +. Also, I actually get offended at people calling Mike Oldfield's early albums 'New Age', especially "Tubular Bells". They are pure Prog Rock, and nothing else. The nearest I can think of for what you're looking for is Jean Michel Jarre, who I regard as 'Electronic'...

Generally, no. In most countries other than the US, they don't start cervical cancer screening until much later. (In the UK women don't get pap smears until age 25, and only every three years--not annually.)
Also, as others have said, if you've never been sexually active, there's no need.

Are you sexually active? I haven't had one but i'm still a virgin (long story). If you are sexually active then get one, if you're not it's no big deal if you haven't had a pap smear.

No-it depends on your sexual history.I usually recommend smears after someone has been sexually active for 2 years -no matter what their age.It is simple, minimally discomforting and potentially life saving
If you are not sexually active-that is a virgin then one is not routinely necessary.Cervical cancer is virtually unknown in virgins

until you start having intercourse you don't need one, so not sure if this applies to you or not.
Always best to have one when you are supposed to though! (is it every 2 years for most women?)
Why haven't you had one? You should have been invited for a test from your health center by now so perhaps get in touch with them and arrange one!
