If you believe this then why aren't you dropping everything and selling them all the latest tangibles as fast as you can rather than wasting time posting questions completely irrelevant to the topic at hand?

I don't believe they are trying to be sneaky! If they are anything like me, I'm not rich but I LOVE football. College (big ten) and the NFL. I budgeted correctly so I could afford and 50 DLP, HD sat (NFL ticket, ESPN game package and the Big Ten ticket) and half way through the season I get NHL Center Ice. That doesn't mean I'm trying to be a big shot, it just means, I know what I want and budget to get it. Once you get that, there's nothing wrong with, after a couple of beers, bragging a little bit, A LITTLE BIT about having it!
Another factor is, alot of people can't afford to go a lot of places, so they are merely settling for the next best thing.
Instead of accusing, try budgeting and you to could have the latest TANGIBLES to!

because ppl that make the big money look down on those that don't have all the lastest toys. It makes the lower class feel like they are better and living the american dream, even if it is on credit.......
