When it comes down to it, and the lights are off... do you just follow your heart where ever it might lead you?

in esscence we are all instinctive beings. we do what every other animal does, we just beat around the bush like no other. we have advanced social structures that are used to weed out the inferior mates and strengthen the gene pool. but it all comes down to reproduction and the passing on of our genetic material. the survival of the species, the one thing hardwired into all of us. and light off for loving lights on for F*****g

Yes, I do believe we are primal instinctive beings. I prefer the lights on, and I follow my heart, but I have my boundaries.

We are instinctive, but many abstractions can override our instincts. The heart can be constrained. I personally want to follow my dreams and dreams are fueled by the heart and instinct, but cold logic will always have a place for me.
