Ok I am 17 years old and i have had my period for probably since i was like in 6th or 7th grade i am now a senior and have a question on if periods get lighter as you age. I have always wondered this and have never asked. From older lady's experiences has your cycle gotten lighter the longer you've had it. I hope yes but plz tell me your honest answer. Thanks.

As a teen I used to get mine around every three weeks and it would last the full week, and be heavy till the last 2 days. Sometimes it would be random on me and start early. weeee.

I've noticed now that I'm 30, that its once per month and it lasts for about 4 days , 2 heavy 1 medium, 1 light. ( thank god...That really sucked). Regular as clockwork.

I really truely it depends on the individual and your hormones. But also things such as diet exercise and health affect it. If you have any kind of imbalances that can really affect your period. Mine has gotten lighter and decreased in the number of days i get it and i'm 24 and i like you have had it since 6th grade. But I know that when i was heavier, weight wise , it was heavier. Make sure you get checked out too regurlary by your doctor, because sometimes there can be issues surrounding your reproductive system that can affect it.

You asked the question, so I have to be honest. It's you that doesn't stimulate him. It doesn't mean that you are not attractive. It could be something about your disposition. True we do like the looks of a beautiful shapely female but lets not be hypocritical, how many women get turned on by just touching an ugly or unattractive man. It goes both ways. You need to thank the girls in the video.

It depends on the individual: Lifestyle, environment, sleep, exercise, and stress all play a factor.

I remember back in grade 7 my period being abnormally heavy, with a very unpredictable schedule.

About 9 years has past. It still have an unpredictable schedule; sometimes it skips a month. Though now I mostly have 'very' light periods, with the occasional abnormally heavy one.

I'm 22 and mine hasn't lightened yet. Mine actually got heavier after I finished High School at 18. And i'm 26kgs lighter (57 pounds). Everybody is different. I've also been having to deal with worse PMS and cramps.

Yes, it can lighten up the longer you have had it. Unfortunately for me that wasn't the case. But that's because I have female problems that are constantly monitored by my doctor.

Unless you have a gynaecological problem. They should lessen as your hormones balance out.
