I bet their kids would look a lot alike...the chances would be higher if they were not identical twins. Thats where the egg splits...the mom dropping 2 eggs at a time is genetic.

No. Identical twins are not genetic, it's luck of the draw. Fraternal twins are genetic, but only on the mother's side of the family, because it is she who will release two eggs or not, resulting in fraternal twins. Doesn't matter what genes the man has...he will release million of sperm but it only matters how many eggs are present, which is controlled by mama only.

I think some people are misreading your question. I belive you are asking if the two couples would or could have identical children when they reproduce.

No.........although it would be possible but definatly not probably.
Interesting enough that sinse each parent produces identical DNA- there are zillions of combinations of DNA.The children from each couple are actually genetically like siblings to their cousins.

If we took DNA and had we could see unravel -it would stretch from earth to the moon. The fact that any of us are born is a major miricle of the combinations of our two biological parents that makes us literally one in a zillion.

Actually siblings are more related to each other than they are to their parents. Because they have the genetics from both parents.

You question is a reasonable question....but it actually ever happening is probably ZERO.
