babies dont breathe in the stomach so they dont cry

There is a reason why babies first cry is so amazing. It is the first breath of air ever taken on their own, and their first cry.

You cannot hear a baby crying or making any noise in the womb (babies are not in the stomach). You can feel them kick, move, hiccup, etc. but cannot hear anything.

That sounds like something from a sci-fi movie...

No, babys dont breathe on thier own in the womb so....no crying.....like my mother used to say "if your crying your breathing"

with that said....when I was pregnat the first time I swear to you that I heard my daughter cry at least once a week. I told my doctor this and she gave me all the mumbo-jumbo about lungs and breathing and all that but I still dont care. I think that when she was in my tummy if there was something she didnt like she cried because if I changed my actions I think it stopped...

i know im silly and im not crazy but someone ^^^ there said something about mothers knowing thier baby and and that the mother is the only one who can hear the baby cry...i like that answer

Hello,
No you can not hear a baby cry while he/she is in the womb. However the baby can hear you. It's a good time to sing or read stories while the baby is in the womb.

Sincerely,

In order to make any kind of vocal noise, you have to have air moving over the vocal chords, causing them to vibrate. Since there is no air in the womb, the baby cannot cry (at least not audibly). I wouldn't be surprised if the baby could actually cry, making the facial expressions, etc, but there's no way to hear it.

No you cannot hear a baby but you can feel it and a mother understands all the movement of the baby so we can say that only a mother can hear the baby...

That's an interesting question, but i don't think so. Their longs are not properly developed for them to be able to cry. You can however feel when they have hiccups. My baby did it more than three times a day. It was sooooooooooo adorable!!!!!!!!!!
