I think with all the Liberal propaganda, some one else will surely be elected as President, but a lot of people may wish they had not bashed him so much, when they see the next leader is not strong enough to actually protect the US and be wishing the next one would be more like Bush. Bush is a strong leader, and that is what we need. All Presidents have made mistakes, but few puts aside all the bashing against him and continues to put the security of the US first.

Hissin Kitty and Scenic Point have the right idea. A leader leads and doesn't keep his finger in the air to see which direction the political winds are blowing. We'll leave that sort of "leadership" to the democrats. It will be difficult to replace President Bush, but I'm pretty sure Rudy Giuliani is up to the job. Another person who is qualified is Dr. Rice. Nobody in the democratic pack is remotely qualified. Their style of non-leadership is reflected in approval ratings even lower than Bush's. His low ratings are due to unfair media coverage. Theirs is due to non-performance.

It will be difficult to get someone in there who is resistant to being 'popular'. Any candidate (Hillary) will use popular ideals to get elected and then will inevitably act like the 'cool mom'. I would rather have someone who does what is right than what is popular because, let's face it, the populace generally cannot think for themselves.

I have never seen so many politcans try to commit political suicide at one time than this batch trying to become president. Even with Bush's poll numbers, he could probably win a third term, if possible, against this lot. Jimmy Carter and Ralph Nadar could even win.

all depends on your concept of a strong leader and also what u want them to do , do you really think the Democrats are gonna pull the troops out the next day after the election . get real they can cut the funding for the war right now but they are to big of pussy's to do it . i for one think we should pull our military out of all country's they are in and protect our boarders and there is only one running on that position from both sides of the political perspective , and that is Ron Paul. and as for the 30% opinion polls id rather have a leader sutch as he is that sticks to his convictions rather than follow what way the wind blows . if u want to improve this contry dont answer polls other than to tell the pollsters that u want leaders that lead so u wont impune to tell them how to do the job they were elected to do. after all u dont want bush telling u when to flip the burgers over at your job

Bush hasn't been a strong leader. He's been an incompetent hard headed leader who will ONLY work with people if they do things his way. Replacing Bush will be very easy.

Do you believe he is a strong leader? Leader of whom?

Not the American people. A majority of Americans want out of Iraq. He has already publicly stated that he does not care what the polls say. He is staying the course in Iraq.

His popularity is barely at 30%.

I think he's a puppet and a yes-man, but he doesn't answer to us.

Yes, I will miss him greatly.

Funny how some of these posters mistakenly consider one who lets public sentiment lead them to be a leader, isn't it? They actually think they are capable and worthy of leading him.

Go figure.....
