My friend claims her mother told her that when she (the daughter) was born, then doctors did something to the baby girl "down there" and her mother heard a popping. When she asked them what they'd done, supposedly the doctors told her they were making it so her baby girl could have a baby one day. I tried to tell my friend that they don't pop anything on a baby girl's vagina to enable her to reproduce in the future, but she swears her mother told her this and it is true. Am I missing something, or was her mother just on some GOOD drugs in labor and delivery?

Baloney or some GOOD drugs - that's for sure!!! I gave birth to my daughter in December 2005, I had an epidural and therefore was wide awake and there certainly was no "popping" of any sorts. My husband was present and he also did not hear any popping or see any dodgy popping procedure being performed on our daughter. For peace of mind, if I were, I would contact a clinic or gynae to confirm this hogwash.

HAHAHAHAHA well if it's true that is just TWISTED and the doctor was a paedophile. But in my opinion its complete BULLTWANG. I had a NATURAL birth of my daughter, and nothing was done to her, except for being wrapped up and given her very frist shot. Great drugs i'd say. What a freak!

Either your friend or her mother was misinformed. Something sounds very creepy about that story. Why would anyone make something like that up, whether your friend to you or your friend from her mom? Does your friend tell you other weird stuff?

as far as i know they don't pop anything. girls are born ready to reproduce once they are of the right age. so unless she was born with a defect of some kind its highly unlikely

there are some babies that are born with both boy and girl parts the Drs usually do an operation and get rid of the boy parts and turn it into girl parts. if you want more information do a google search.
