6 x^5 y / 3 x^2 y^3
= 2 x^3 / y^2

You and I must be taking the exact same class?!(asalgebra.platoweb??) b/c I'm stuck in an evaluate module for my online class and googled the exact same problem and came upon your question on this site! then, I started looking, and you posted another of the exact same problem! Did you ever get the answer for the 35x^3+40x^2-12/4x^2??? this stuff is sooo hard to me!

i guess u misstyped it, wut is the power 3 on? casue there's no place for it..
if solved without it 6x^5y/3x^2y = 2x^3y
