I can see where it might: non-violence doesn't go well in the 'survival of the fittest' mentality of today's competitive world.

No. Being an American in the US should be considered a kind of sociobiological personality disorder. We're all screwed up.

I have always been a "nice guy". I am appalled by the behavior of a lot of men. They ain't impressing the ladies and they ain't impressing me. I have no desire to know all the details of their sex lives which on the whole is pretty pitiful. They have no respect for themselves or their relationships and think that whores are only of the female gender. When your relationships are entirely physical based on what looks good on the "menu" which is generally anything and everything all you end up being is a drooling rutting animal and most women want nothing to do with them once they figure out that is all they have (how can you have a relationship with no communication, or friendship, or trust). Then the guys have the guts to sit there and whine and complain. "She won't put out" or "she was really bad in bed" or "she broke up with me after all the money I spent and not even a good bye screw". 'Shallow Hal' (the movie) never came close to the truth. I don't spend much time with men, I couldn't be bothered. If a person were my friend it was because they were intelligent, honest, had common sense, and was genuinely sensitive to people. My wife is my best friend, and in the past, the women that I spent time with were best friends.

My friend, you are one of the few normal people in the world and I can say that from just the one line you write in your question. So laugh it up at all the fools in the world. You will have the single best quality relationship on the planet and will be truly happy while the majority are out there drooling and rutting and telling all their B.S. stories of conquest while they try to enjoy themselves in chat rooms and picking up drunks at closing time at the corner bar.

No being a nice guy is great only associate yourself with nice people and things will work out. And the survival of the fittest in society. I'm a nice guy but I also have a sniper or assassination mentality to survive.

Absolutely not! There are so few nice guys out there that instead of the norm, they're tagged as weird. Don't let 'em get to ya

No. Quite the contrary, it should be a valued and highly sought after trait.
The rude meanies should be the rejects.
